Heureusement que mon atelier est grand. J'ai la sale habitude (?) de tout garder. Je conserve le plus petit dessin, le moindre croquis. On sait jamais, ça peut toujours servir.
Quoique que ce soit-là un point de désaccord avec mon épouse adorée et soucieuse d'un peu d'ordre même dans mon atelier.

En fouillant un peu, beaucoup, passionnément, voilà une petite trouvaille.
Pratiquement mes tous premiers dessins. Les "fameux" monopompes. Je ne savais dessiner que des pieds et des têtes... le corps, trop dur à dessiner.
Je devais avoir 15 ans.
Vous pouvez admirer notamment le soin particulier dans le cadrage et la mise en page.

Ce casque jaune de vrai travailleur a été obtenu de haute lutte lors du festival BD FiL de 2007...
Et il est effectivement devenu indispensable à mon travail. Les contrats d'assurance signés avec la Lloyd's m'obligent à le porter en permanence.
Mon cerveau étant assuré pour une somme s'approchant des 1.50 Frs.
Je dois assurer l'avenir de ma famille, de mon patrimoine. Je suis un homme responsable, madame !

Dans mes dessins, le souci d'exactitude documentaire n'a jamais été une pensée principale.
Je ne travaille que très très rarement à l'aide de photo. Plutôt de mémoire... et encore, c'est pas sûr.

Alors quand je dessine mon atelier, je ne sors même pas. Et je le fais comme j'ai envie, et pis c'est tout.
Mais on s'en moque un peu d'ailleurs.

Le héros s'appelle Didier Trognon.
Quel beau nom, et finement trouvé !
Je vous explique, c'est assez simple et ainsi vous pourrez entrer de plain-pied dans les secrets les plus intimes de la création.

Moi c'est François, mais mon deuxième prénom (ça se faisait à l'époque, avant la guerre...la guerre du Golf, pas l'autre) mon deuxième prénom est Didier. Tadaaaam !

Deuxième partie, recherche encore plus fine et travaillée, et je crois avoir atteint des sommets : Trognon. Depuis que je dessine, vers 15 ans, je me suis mis à introduire dans tous mes dessins un trognon de pomme. Coquetterie artistique dirons-nous lors des interviews. Alors hop Trognon, c'est une évidence.
Et me voilà caché derrière un pseudonyme digne des énigmes et mystères les plus grands. Da Vinci Code pulvérisé, boum !

Pour les miros, j'ai tracé un cercle bleu autour des trognons de pomme


un des tous premiers strip d'actualité dessiné pour le quotidien La Liberté





et puis ce fameux trognon est devenu un logo et le nom de cette petit "raison individuelle"



Voilà chers amis, tant de secrets dévoilés aussi brutalement. Fermez la bouche et reprenez votre souffle.
